Okay so I am huge Blog-Slacker!! Mostly my slacking is due to lack of sleep, but I am slowly getting use to getting 3-5 hrs of sleep a night. I work for the post office, I get home at 3:30am and my Darling kids wake up at 6:30-sometimes they are good and watch a movie and let me sleep but SOMETIMES they are not so good and make me wake up! I also just found out that I am with CHILD, which makes things a little more interesting and a little more exhausting.

Anyway..... Here are some pictures from New Years in Salina, we had soo much fun!! We made yummy food on NewYears Eve, we had pigs in a blanket, crab wontons, artichoke dip, mini pizzas and yummy yummy yummy fruit and dip. It was just Us, Matt and Jenn so you can bet our Party was HOPPIN! I think we all fell asleep around 11:30 watching a movie then woke up at Midnight to watch the ball drop, we tried to do fireworks but 5 below weather wouldn't allow that to happen. On New Years day we went sledding, it was soooo much fun Oaklee and Beckham absolutley loved it! Oaks was so good at climbing up he mountain and sleddding down all by herself. Beckham loved running and falling in the snow! I think that may just be our new Tradition!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

We Love Christmas!! Every year we go to Grandma Livi's house on Christmas eve, we eat pizza and make gingerbread ouses. This year we bought a train, and it was HARD!! It was so funny because all of the Men took it upon themselves to make them but were all cussing the whole time they were making them. Jasons Gingerbread house always looks the best so he always says that we are having a contest so that he will always win!! Bet you cant guess which one is his-

We also open our pajamas at Grandmas house, I was so excited this year because I got the kids Sponge Bob pajamas, they are obsessed with that guy. Beckham was so excited he was jumping around in circles forever-

When we got home from Grandmas we wrote letters for Santa, Oaklee wrote both of these letters- (I told her what letters and she wrote them)

Christmas Morning, Santa ate most of his cookies and all of his milk which made Oaklee very very happy. We made Oaklee wait to come in the room so I could record their reactions, Oaklee came in and just fell to the ground in shock!! It was sooo funny. Becks came in and saw his train table and just started screaming-He didn't leave his table all morning long so Oaks opened most of presents for him.

We normally have breakfast pizza on Christmas morning but Cody had a bad experience with eggs so now we have Waffles with coconut syrup, potatoes and bacon

I can't even begin to tell you how crazy crazy my December was, I am soooo behind on my blogging so this post will be kinda huge and kind a crazy. It all began with Sledding with our best buddies Dallin and Cade, we got all bundled up ready to take on the biggest hill we could find. We got all packed into the car when I noticed that our sleds were missing, someone freaking stole our sleds out of our garage, well thats what we think because they are no where to be found. We were able to use the Johnsons sleds so we were okay. We got to the hill and were so excited we could hardly stand it then Oaklee went down one time and snow got in her gloves so she was done and we left, GOOD TIMES. GOOD TIMES.

We had a family christmas party with Cody's family and Santa came, our little lovely happy little four year old was SOOOOOOOOOO not excited for that!! She sat in the corner playing her cousins ds the entire time he was there-Seriously I wanted to cry, all i wanted was a picture of her on Santas lap but she didn't care at all about pictures! Beckham on the other hand was giving him high fives the whole time and held some bells for him while we sang jingle bells, seriously two completely different kids!!

We had a friend christmas party also, we were all suppose to wear ugly christmas sweaters, it was a lot of fun but of course I was to stressed out about making sure everyone had fun that I didnt take that many pics!!

BUSY BUSY BUSY PART TWO

We had and awesome time down south for Thanksgiving, I didnt take any pics at the feast because I just wanted to RELAX AND EAT. I have been working like a mad dog lately and this weekend I just wanted to do nothing but visit with the family, laugh, sleep and eat. We had Thanksgiving at Cary's House, it was very traditional and I loved it. We all sat on one big table and passed the food to each other and were all able to talk and catch up on eveyones happenings. That night all the adults went to New Moon, IT WAS FABULOUS(Thanks to the amazing abs of Jacob) The next day we went shopping and then went to Mesquite to eat at an amazing buffet. On Saturday we did a little more shopping then we went bowling. It was sooooo much fun, Oaklee is a natural and scored an 87, she gets a lot of practice on the Wii. I did take some pics of Ginas cute family and some of my beautiful niece Mekenze. I wish now that I would have taken more of all the family together, dang it!! Whatayado?? We also got our Famiy pictures done at Highlite Photography and I just saw the Christmas card that Vi made for me and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

Busy Busy Busy

I seriously have bee so so so busy lately. I am now working two jobs(three if you count being a wife and a mother) Cody has lost some more of his monthly income due to this "Economic Downfall" so it has required me to get another job at nights. I am now a certified Postal Worker and hating every minute of it. I seriously feel like I am in prison and I am so tired because I work the graveyard shift, we are not allowed to talk to ANYONE and sit at a desk and type for 5 or 6 hours a night. We have a break every hour but I seriously am so tired I spend most of my break chuggin down caffiene and walking around so I dont fall asleep. During all this work work work I have managed to squeak in a few fun shoots for my good buddies who help me out by watching my kiddos. It is so nice to have something to trade for especially when money is so tight and I cant afford to pay babysitters. Here is my friend Jandi and her friend Andi, aren't they BEAUTIFUL, I told Jandi last night that I am obsessed with her pictures and cant get enough. Take a look see and see if you agree with me...

Halloween

Oh, Halloween.... So very very fun and so very very exhausting! Our Halloween started on Thursday with a halloween party at Oaklee's school, it was a lot of fun getting her dressed and all dolled up in her Tinkerbell costume, but keeping her all dressed up until the party actually started was a NIGHTMARE! That same day after school there was a ward Halloween party so we had to get the kids ready for that too(of course when I say we I mean Cody, I had to work that night ) Oaklee cried the entire time at the party and also was lost for half of the party...Gotta love Dads!
Friday we got ready and went to Cody's work to do some trick or treating there, which the kids just loved because they LOVE their Daddy. When we got home we made sum yummy eyeballs out of donut holes and white chocolate, I asked Oaks if they looked like eyballs and she said "NOT AT ALL" I can always count on her to lift my spirits! Then we had to get ready AGAIN to go to a fun little neighborhood Halloween party SHEESH! I don't think I have ever been this sick of Halloween before it even started.
Finally Halloween was here and we started getting ready around 5:30 and the kids would not allow me to take many pics because they were so tired of being in their costumes already. We had a great time Trick or Treating, Oaklee ran ahead of us with her friend Hadley and Becks had fun climbing peoples stairs and saying "Tank too" everytime they gave him candy. We went to the Bennets house afterward for some Homemade Chili and Donuts!!

Oaklee asked me if I was uncle tim for Halloween because of the shirt I was wearing, what do you think!

The Pumpkin Patch

A couple of weeks ago me and the kiddos went to the pumpkin patch (without Cody due to his gall bladder being removed) it was a lot of fun! I love fall, I love the leaves changing, the cool air, yummy warm soups and Halloween. This pumpkin patch is the best pumpkin patch EVER! They have mini wheel barrows for the kids, good priced pumpkins and a free corn maze! The kids had soooo much fun and didn't want to leave. Here are a few pictures of our adventure...............

This past weekend I had the opportunity to take some pics of family! I love family! I was asked to take pictures of little baby Eli, he was so sweet and so calm and really did GREAT! I love this litte Man! He has been a pill lately but I love him. He climbs on everything and therefor falls A LOT, which makes him cry A LOT and which also makes him have scrapes and bruises all over his face as you can see in the pictures. He also has figured out how to take off his diaper while still wearing his shorts then he pees his pants and all over the floor. Just the other day he was pounding Oaklee in the head with a toy hammer and made her eye ball bleed, yes her eye ball! Oaklee then in turn cracked him over the head with the remote to the TV so both of them were crying and fighting over my lap! WHEW!! I am tired, really really tired! There are those moments then moments like this when he just makes me melt, I love him so much :) I was taking pics practicing using window light and asked him to do certain poses and HE DID IT! Then of course he would run at me and knock me over but it was so cute check out these pics of him he will melt your heart too!

I Love Facebook!! I have found so many people on Facebook that I haven't seen or talked too in over 15 years. Sheridon, my good friend from Richfield contacted me on facebook and said she would be in town from New York and wanted to get in touch! I told her I wanted to use her little girl as a model for some pictures and she said YES!! She also brought her brother Shad, we were best friends when we were little I was a tom boy and loved hangin out with the boys! He was so much fun and a great friend. I even remember him kissing me on the cheek while we were playing in Mrs. Colbys' ditch, I thought it was so weird, do you remember that Shad?? Seeing him brought back many memories of Richfield, I love small towns and hopefully someday I can talk Cody into moving to one some day. Anyway enough of memorie lane, Sheridon emailed me a link of the skirt she bought for the pictures and asked me if it would work for the pics I had in mind. I guess it worked, WHAT DO YOU THINK???

Lake Powell..............................

What else can I say but, ahhhhhhhhh! I love Lake Powell, it is so relaxing and so much fun! The weather was perfect and so was the water! Wakeboarding and surfing are my all time favorite things to do it is my goal to get really good at wakeboarding by the end of next summer! It was nice to have one last hoorah before the summer ended! Notice there are no pictures of me! Im kind of upset about it too! I need to get cody a camera so he can take pictures too! We invited Zach, Bret, Iyrlend, Tom, Denny, Jace and Kylie. It was so nice to be able to hang out with great Family and Friends I can't wait for next year to do it all over again

Oquirrah Park Rocks The Hose!!!

What a DAY! Today was Oquirrah Park Days (the name of our neighborhood) The first thing on the agenda was the 5k race and the bike parade. We all met at the club house to decorate bikes (Oaks had a scooter because her bike was impaired) Some of the people there raced a 5k race while others, like myself, watched and helped the kids decorate their different modes of transportation. Mr. Mike Singley won the race for the Men (he ran under 7 minute miles, sheesh!!) he is our neighbor so we are PROUD!! and Jenn Jackson won the race for the girls, also our neighbor so again we are PROUD!! After the race the kids rode their decorated bikes around the nighborhood.
I went into work for a bit to get caught up on some stuff while Cody and Beckham took a nap and little Oaks roamed the neighborhood with little Addie(those two can get into trouble so I asked Kristy to keep an eye on them) On the way home from work I stopped off at a Yard sale and found Oaklee a new Big Girl Bike for...................$10.00!!!! (see pictures below) after riding her bike for about 4 hours, we did some cleaning and then went inside to get ready for the rest of the festivities headed our way. I found little man Becks had climbed back into the bath, after I had just dressed him for the festivities!! What a stinker, I guess I know now to immediately drain the water in the tub. We met at the clubhouse where we ate the best Hawaiian food ever, I am on my loading days for the HCG diet so I went to town, YUMMY!! The HOA board set up a GINORMOUS water slide for the kids, it was a HIT! There was also, a clown who made balloons but I didn't get any pics of him because they kind of frighten me!! He made Oaklee a dog with a leash she was very pleased. Later the kids were able to swim while watching "Surfs Up" on a big screen TV. We had a great day full of fun and the kids are now sleeping, and I love the silence. Oh yes and in the mix of things we also found a "prey mantis"?????!! (I have no idea on how to spell that word) on our porch, Oaklee said he is our new pet! I took a picture for your SELENA so you would know what an alive one looked like!!

My friend Misty and I took our kids to this little cool place in Lehi called the "Nook and Cranny" It is an antique store and is made from some little old buildings. Misty takes pictures also and wanted some cute school pics of her boys. She has some strobe lights so we decided to take them and try them out......Well sweet little Misty forgot the remotes that trigger the flash so we just used my reflector. They turned out pretty cute I got some way cute ones of Beckham......Finally! ENJOY

Oaklee started school today and I couldn't be happier! She was sooo excited, we braided her hair last night so it would be curly for school. She woke up and wanted to get ready right away, we got in the car and ran a quick errand then we went to school! Just after we pulled up little Addy was not far behind, Kristy and I got the kids out of the cars and made them pose for some quick pictures together. Kristy pointed out that we were the first ones there and that rarely happend in the year past. We walk the kids down the stairs and open the door to Mrs. Brown and her daughter blasting Brittany Spears. Mrs. Brown looked at us for a while and said "You do know that Preschool starts at 12:30 right??? Oh man! We were early, I was sure glad that Kristy was with me and that I wasn't the only one that doesn't pay much attention to detail. Oaklee and Addy were not happy, they did not want to get back into the car, Oaklee said "Mrs. Brown can just watch me, because I am not getting back in that car" Kristy suggested that we go to Mcdonalds and then everything was just fine. We finally got to school and noticed that 9 out of the 12 kids in her class live in our neighborhood, this year is going to be a blast!!!

I am really wanting to improve my photography skills but dont have the equipment that I want to make it better. I decided to take little oaks and her little friends to the lake to try some things with my camera and my reflector, of course it didn't last too long because it was FREEZING and it started to rain. I got a few good shots but still there is something missing like LIGHT!! I am considering taking a graveyard job so that I can earn enough money to buy a flash and an off camera flash to help make my pictures what I know they should be! Here are a few pics from today, I must say I am lucky to have this talented bunch live close to me :)(they are a bit dark, I guess little man Becks was playing with my brightness button on my monitor)

I have just been backing up all my pictures and ran accross some pictures that I love and have not posted on here yet. The first three little cuties are some of my good friends kids, I take my camera every where and love to take pictures of my friends kids and then email them to my friends. The next three are from a photo shoot I did of my niece this past weekend.(there will be more to come once I edit them) I got a cute on of Oaks and Becks fell asleep in the car so we took out his whole carseat and lugged him around every where we went. I love taking pictures of kids, they are my favorite kind of people :)

Summer Fun!

So we had a fun but crazy spur of the moment week!! It all started with Swimming, swimming, swimming and more swimming. Oaklee has found her passion in life and won't give it up for nothin! On Wednesday my very good sexy friend Misty called me about 4 and said we are going to the cabin with the kids, and you are coming!! I packed us all up and left the house at 6, I think that was the fastest I have ever gotten ready for a two day trip. Her cabin is in the Uintas and is a very nice Cabin, we had sooo much fun. We hiked, layed out in the sun while the kids ran throught the sprinklers, took lots of pics (really funny not so appropriate pics!! he he!) Misty and Amanda jumped on this really cool swing that hung from a tree, I wouldn't do it because I was afraid I would rip my jeans. We got home Friday and I went to work, after work I took Oaks and all of her cute little friends Swimming.....Again! Saturday I worked then came home and you guessed it SWIMMING AGAIN!! After we were done swimming we went to Draper Days to hear my Bro and his Buddies LIVE THEIR DREAM!! They were amazing as usual!! Oquirrh Mountain Temple

We went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house a couple of weeks ago! It was a lot of fun and it was really beautiful. Zach, Bret, Iyrlend, Jenn and Chevia all came up to go through with us, it was a reall neat experience and the temple is Amazing. When we got done watching the video about the temple Oaklee gave Cody a big hug and said "That was awesome and so beautiful" She was so excited to finally go to the temple because it is right by our house. She said before we left, "We are going to the temple right now?? Who am I going to Marry?" She is so sweet and loves the church and gets so excited when we say prayers and she gets to talk to Heavenly Father. It is so neat to have the temple so close and to know that Oaklee already knows that she wants to be married there! (notice only one picture of Beckham, that kid is going to be the death of me! He doesnt hold still for nothin)

4th of July!

We Love Salina!!! We are going to be going to Salina every year for the fourth of July it is going to be one of our traditions. I grew up in Richfield and that is what we would do every year. We had so much fun hanging out with my family it really brought back a whole lot of memories. First we went out to breakfast with the MacArthur Family to Dennys, that is one of their family traditions! After Breakfast we went to the carnival and played games and ate snow cones. The kids had a blast and little Oaklee even won a gold fish! (she actually didn't win him she threw a huge fit so they gave it to her so she would be quiet :)) Beckham enjoyed the bounce house he fell every step he would take but was grinning from ear to ear the entire time. The lady who was operating the bounce house was excited when I brought him back the second time becasue she thought that he was so dang cute!! After the carnival we went to eat at the famous GATORZ drive inn, it was so yummy!!! Then after a long nap we got ready for the parade, Matt, Jenn, Cody Me, Oaklee, Beckham, Kamryn, Maddy and Karter all got to sit in the GATORZ truck in the parade, it was the most fun we had ever had at a parade. Later that night we went to the Salina Rodeo and Firework show, Oaklee said she would like to be in the rodeo but not until she is 8! We got to Matt and Jenns house around 11pm and decided to light some of our own fireworks, Cody put on quite a show for us I cant believe how funny he is.

The other Day while working at Highlite Photography we did a really fun shoot for Persnickety Clothing (check out the website, the clothes are to die for.. www.persnicketyclothing.com) We did the shoot downtown in this really neat location, it was a lot of fun, a little crazy, but fun! So yesterday I had to go downtown to run some errands and decided to stop at that same location to just play around with the kids. I was not at all prepared, Oaklee's hair was a mess and her clothes were clothes that she picked out herself and Beckham....well lets just say that kid is too crazy I can't ever get a decent picture of him. Oaklee did participate for a couple of pictures, but she had to pick the pose! Gotta love her!

We love Lake Powell!!!!! I have posted a lot of pictures and still have a lot more but I won't bore you with too many pics. We had sooooo much fun, Beckham loved loved loved every sinlge minute of being here, he loved the water, the sand, the houseboat stairs, the yellow boat, the wave runners, watching people surf and wakeboard, fish, ducks did I mention he loved the water and the sand! He had to be watched like a hawk because he has no fear and tried to jump out of the boat while it was going! He makes me really tired but I love him. Oaklee loved the yellow boat and......... well that's it! If the yellow boat was going she was on it, she spent a little time on the beach and in the water but every chance she had she was on the yellow boat pleading with her Daddy to just go faster. I enjoyed surfing and hanging out with our great friends and family, we had a blast

I have been so blessed with the best friends and the greatest family that anyone could ask for! I am so thankful for all those who help me out by watching my kids while I have to work. I don't have any of my side of the family near me so it is nice that I have the best in-laws and the best friends who have made me feel like a part of their families. To thank all those who have helped me I told them I would pay them back by taking pictures of their cute little families and I love these ones so I just had to post.

Memorial Day Weekend at the Cabin

The cabin was awesome!! We had so much fun and we are so sad that it is over but we all agreed that we will be back before the summer is over. We went with some great friends; Nick, Tauni, Brailey, Kasen, Spencer and Ashley. They brought up some 4-wheelers and a cool little fishing boat to add to help make our trip more memorable and they made for some great pictures :) Tauni and I got together before the trip and planned out the meals, I think we ate better there than we do at home. Becks enjoyed everything about this trip from the wondering around to check out the cool "junk" laying around the property to 4-wheeling to throwing rocks in the lake he really hated falling in the cactus though!! Oaklee loved loved loved fishing and was actually pretty good at casting, she also loved loved loved loved 4-wheeling except for the fact that I put her on the fast one with me and it melted her shoe. We even had a little dog come knock on our door on sunday morning and stayed and played for a while her name was jackie. Get ready for this picture overload we had too much fun to leave anything out

One of my very good friends got married this past weekend, Finally!!! I worked with him for almost six years at an accounting firm. He asked me if I would take some candid pictures and pics of the detail for him during the reception. Of course he didn't have to do much bribing I accepted the offer! Spring Time Fun

Okay so we have been super busy this past couple of weeks. First of all we went to the Zoo(the pics are at the bottom, I put them on backwards.) We had sooo much fun and of course Beckham was loving the animals and loving running down all of the hills. Oaklee was her usual self, wining that she is tired and hungry but when she would see an animal she would get so excited! Next we have spent many of these wonderful spring evenings hanging out in the front yard with the entire neighborhood, that is why I love this neighborhood everyone is always outside every evening in the spring and summer time :) Notice Oaklee and Addison playing catch with a bouncy ball accross the street from eachother, they are CRAZY!!!!! Last we went to our friends house today to play in the swimming pool and slip n slide. These are the same friends that came to our house a few weeks ago to play on the slip n slide. (Notice this sweet little boy and how much he loved me taking pictures of him and also notice how my kids never want their pictures taken I think they were sent to me by mistake......ugh!)

The Hair Cut

I decided today that Mr. Beckham really needed a hair cut, he really was starting to look like one of those old men who can only grow hair in the back and the side of their head(kind of like the dad on Every Body Loves Raymond) I took him to Cookie Cutters and brought along my camera to capture this memorable event, I have to say it was kind of sad to see all of those curls cut off but I must agree with Oaklee when she said "Oh Mom he his so handsome, feel his head"

I just bought a canon 5d on Saturaday! I love it!! here are a few pictures that we did today but of course my kids were not cooperating very well at home and it was raining for most of the day so that really screwed up my plans to go some where fun to take pictures. So I am giving a shout out to the Gatorz Drive-Inn in Salina, Utah!! This place has the best food and is ran by the best people. Ok, It is owned by my brother Matt and his wife Jenn! Seriously though, it is the best food ever!!!! Matt is such a good cook and you can tell that he loves that place and that he loves to come up with new recipes, his Gator sauce is AMAZING!! We went down to Salina for my cousins farewell and were treated to a nice meal at Gatorz! (mostly because Cody refuses to eat food at big family gatherings for some reason so Matt & Jenn felt bad for him because he was starving after the big family luncheon) Oaklee loves Gatorz because everytime she goes there she gets IceCream, Rootbeer, suckers and money! Beckham loves it because there is a lot of things that he can get in to...geez!!

Oaklee had her first soccer game today, it was amazingly cold but those little rascals didn't care they played their little hearts out! All of Oaklee's best buddies are on the team with her so she is really pumped to play this year. Also check out her sweet orange cleats, she says that they make her so fast and she will be able to get all those boys out of the way so she can score a goal. She is really fast and kept up with the ball the entire game I was really shocked! The hardest part about being at the game was trying to keep Beckham from running on the field and into the soccer goal! At the end of the game Oaklee said "Caleb said the game is over and I think it was because I didn't score a goal" I JUST LOVE HER!!!

Spring Time is here...........Finally

Spring is finally here and I love it!! We have had soo much fun this past week playing outside with friends and famliy. I just love flying kites, blowing bubbles, picnics, soccer season and just hanging out with the kids at the park. We had a fun family get together and Grandma and Grandpa Livi's house on Sunday, the kids had so much fun on their easter egg hunt, (a week late, but this was the only time we could get together) we had a yummy BBQ and went to the park with Grandpa Livi to fly kites, It was a PERFECT day. Later on in the week it was 80 degrees and so Oaklee decided that it was warm enough outside to get out the old slip n slide! We invited our friends; Tauni, Brailey and Kasen over for a picnic and some fun in the sun. A lot of people thought we were crazy to be playing in the water so soon but We didn't care it was the best day ever!

We had a really fun Easter, I just love my family! My kids are so cute and Cody is such a great husband and Dad. The Easter Bunny brought Oaklee a "flat ball" and an "Etcha-Sketch" for some reason that is what she was "wishing" for. He brought Beckham a football and animal crackers, I seriously think he can live on animal crackers. He also brought both of them some cute Easter clothes Oaklee was really surprised that he knew to bring her an Easter Dress on Sunday so she could wear it to church.

Because of the wonderful, beautiful, and also AWESOME snow, I decided to bring up all the toys from the basement so my kids have something to do during the winter in March we are currently having. Oaklee called over Addison and Dawson to play. They had so much fun playing in the tent, jumping on the in door trampoline, running all over the house getting the bad guys with their spider man toys (compliments of McDonalds!!) and giggling so hard they would fall to the ground! We decided to get out of the house today because it was above freezing for a minute. (Its suppose to snow again tomorrow dang-it!) Oaklee was sooo ornery today so we needed to get out of this house and get some fresh air and exercise but of course Oaklee wouldn't let Cody put her down because on the weekend she is obsessed with him and Beckham would not hold still long enough for me to get a good picture of him. This is one that I got of the three of them together...........kind of together! I didn't get any of the little guy not in motion so it is kind of blurry but kind of cool at the same time.

Happy Birthday Beckham! We had such a great day today, he was so happy and loved every minute of the attention he was getting. We went again to the great Salina this past weekend, it was a lot of fun! We were able to hang out with Matt, Jenn, Chevia, Zach, Bret, Iyrlend, Paul, Curtis, Arielle, Clay and Mikey. We ate some yummy food from Gatorz on Saturday night as we laughed about old stories of Cody and my sister and sister-in-law while they werer in High School. Sunday morning we made yummy waffles with coconut syrup (absolutely my all time favorite breakfast food) after that we went out and took some fun family pics of the beautiful Gates Family. They turned out really good I just wish i had my new camera and some lights because the sun was covered too much by the clouds, I needed a little more light for what I was trying to pull off. After pictures we went home and Matt made a yummy deep fried turkey with Spanish tortillas, it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! Jenn also made a very good salad with the best dressing I have ever tasted in my life. Now its time for all the fun pics, here we go.....................

We also went to Grandma Gates House and borrowed the chair that is in the first few pics. I love it! Oaklee was so excited that she has another Grandma, I told her it was my Dads mom she just giggled with delight, she even sat on her lap.... WILLINGLY:) we were all shocked. I forgot to mention that on the way down to Salina Beckham had one to many Cheetos and one too many swigs of milk and spewed all over the back seat, it was pretty stinky!

This past weekend I packed up me and the kids and headed down south to Sunny Saint George, It was a lot of fun to hang out with my brother and Sisters. Oaklee had a blast with all of the cousins and Beckham just loved being outside all day long, he also loved the stairs at Carys and Gina's Houses. I also was able to take some really fun pictures of little sweet Iyrlend. She is the cutest and most calm little baby I have ever seen. I love all of my nieces and nephews so much. I wish I would have taken more pics of all the older kids but I just cant seem to keep my camera from pointing to all the cute little babies running around

I have been wanting to take pictures of Oaklee for a while now. I had a great idear for some cool shots and she just turned 4 so i thought it would be a perfect excuse to take some pictures of her. Yesterday was Oaklee's 4th birthday, WOW! I cant believe I have a four year old. She was so excited for her birthday and could not wait to have her birthday party. I stayed up way too late on Sunday night to clean the house and decorate with all the pink decorations. Oaklee wanted a pink party, so that is what she got! When she woke up and went into the kitchen she said "what did you do this for?" I said its your birthday today, she got really excited and gave me a big hug and said "Thanks Mama" I love her so much, she is so full of life and loves to live it! Everything makes her happy and excited..... Well almost everything.! We had 10 of her best friends come over for her birthday, I had it all planned out that we would eat pizza, play games, decorate cookies then open presents. Well that was not Oaklee's idea. She cried and screamed because she wanted to open all the presents as soon as they came through the door then she cried because she didn't want to eat she wanted to do the pinata, then she cried because she wanted to play inside and all of her friends wanted to play games outside. Finally I just said forget it, and all the kids just played in her room with all of her toys until their parents came to pick them up!

We had the oppurtunity to go to Park City last week and Party with DueWest. It was amazing. They were here for the Sundance Festival and decided to put on a cozy unplugged concert in an amazing Deer Valley home. They are so good and so fun to watch play together. They all have the best voices and when they come together they are just amazing! If you have never heard of DueWest, they are a country group out of Nasville, they are all LDS and have all been a part of the Nashville Tribute to Joseph Smith and to The Pioneer Trek. The lead singer is my Brother, Tim Gates, there is Matt Lopez from Wyoming and Brad Hull from Arizona. If you get a chance give them a listen, they are on Facebook, Myspace, blogspot and they also have a website http://www.duewest.com/. They are amazing and I know that you will love them too!!

I was really bored on Sunday afternoon when all of the sudden I received a text message from my sweet niece, Chevia! It said "So are you coming to Salina today? I really miss my Auntie!" So I took the kids and took a little trip to Salina for the night. We had alot of fun watching movies on the big screen, eating shakes from GATORZ, looking at the horses, watching Aunite Jenn Groom dogs and of course taking pictures. Oaklee was so cute with Matt, Jenn and Chevia, she would say "Mom is Chevia my friend, becasue I love her!" Beckham really likes Matt and all of his Deer and Elk antlers he has everywhere. 2009 BRING IT ON!

I have decided to set some goals for my self this year, I am trying to be happier with what life gives to me, more loving with all of my family and friends, a better mom to the cutest kids in the world, a better wife to the best dad in the whole world and of course a whole lot skinnier!! (had to throw that in!) I really want to learn more about photography and improve more over this year. I really want to earn enough money to buy a better camera and some fun new lenses! Our goal is to get our basement finished with wood floors so I can have a fun little kid and baby studio in my basement. I want to get all my pictures off of my computer and into some Heritage Makers books. I really want to do something amazing this year I don't know yet what its going to be but when I figure it out I will let everyone know! I want 2009 to be a year to remember at the Livingston House!

This past week has been probably one of the hardest weeks of my life. Me and the kids packed up on Saturday and headed down south for pre-Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and michael before they left on adventure to Tennessee. We had a good trip despite the car trouble, the missing cell phone, Beckham's staff infection and My mom moving 2000 miles away, it was good to see my family again. I am really going to miss my Mom. I guess I never realized how much I need her and how much I love being around her until this weekend. I didn't want the weekend to end because I didn't want to have to say goodbye. I am amazed at her strength and amazed at her knowledge and amazed at her love for our family and her faith in Heavenly Father. My mom is a great person and deserves to be happy. Love you Mom!!! So last weekend we decided to go to Salina to visit Matt, Jenn & Chevia. We had alot of fun. Oaklee loves it there! Matt took us to his new drive inn and made us a whole bunch of yummy food. It was soooo good. I am so proud of those guys for working so hard and doing what they want in life. I wish i would have taken my camera to Gatorz drive inn to get some pics of the food. Those guys really know how to make good food, and Cody is still raving about the Gatorz Shake that Chevia made him. We argued forever about it because we dont have a spider man costume. So after a while I told her that I would put makeup on her if she would just be a witch, and she finallly agreed! We are finally home! After a fun filled week in sunny California we are finally home and very tired. We had the greatest time with Zach, Bret and little Iyrlend. I can not beleive how cute she is and how much she talks. She is the most relaxed little baby she especially when she is was hanging out with her dad. I can't beleive how much I miss my family in St. George, it was so nice to hang out with my little brother and watch him and his cute little family and how happy they are together.

We went to Disneyland three days during the week and probably went on Pirates of the Carribean 17 times. That was Oaklee's absolute favorite. She would put her hands up going down the hills and sing and dance to the songs. (she pretty much ran the show the whole time we were there.... Sorry Zach and Bret I hope you still like her after this trip) She also loved buzz light year and the rocket ships. She was very sad however when the workers would tell her she was too small to ride some of the rides, she would say "Mom, I'm not small I'm bigger!" She did eat really well while we were there so she could grow to ride the bigger rides. The last day we went to the beach, it was a lot of fun Oaklee loved the water and the waves and watching Zach get knocked over by the waves, while Beckham and Iyrlend were trying their hardest to each as much sand as possible and bret and I were trying to keep all ther birds away from our stuff. Cody had soo much fun watching Oaklee's face when we would go on the rides and when she would see all of the characters. It really is a magical place!

We went up to a cabin and had the best time. We stayed up way late, talked too much and ate way too much junk food. It was sooo much fun. I went hiking with the other girls that were there while the men stayed back and watched all of the kids. We were a little worried but they actually manged just fine. On our hike there were Elk every where, we never saw them but we heard them. My friend Misty and I both really like to take pictures so of course we did a lot of that up there also. Today was Little Oaks first day of school. She was so excited this morning she even let me braid her hair without a fight. I wanted to curl it too but that was asking too much! Happy 4th of July!

We had a lot of fun this year. We decided to spend the 4th with Matt, Chevia and Auntie Bubbles (thats what oaks calls Jen) We also saw My Mom, Dad, JOe, Dani and the Kids. It was a lot of fun We went to the Richfield Parade and saw Chevia, she was the first attendant of the Teen Sevier pagent. SHe looked so beautiful. Then we went to a park and played games, then had a bar-b-q. Oaks and Cody went with matt to pull the Float that Chevia was on in the Salina Parade, Oaklee thought that was the greatest. Beckham didnt really like the heat that much but he was still just smiling at everyone so I think he had a good time.

Our new addition.... Baby Beckham

Beckham was born March 8th @ 9:21pm (I was induced at 6:00am) He weighed 8lbs 3oz, he was a pound bigger than oaklee. He is now three weeks old and is the best baby! Oaklee loves him and calls him "Mister" She is so cute with him and always wants to help. Cody is a very proud father. He loves to show off pictures of him to the guys at work.
